Working on Volume 1 of comic strip book + Part Time Fanboy Podcast!
So I've been drawing a lot lately, which is good. So good that I'm working on a book of strips. There is no deadline, but there is a clear goal - draw 50 strips - made up of 8 panels (4 panels stacked on top of each other) - color them, then publish in paper format. I'm on the last leg of the pen and ink stage, then it will be coloring time, which might happen with markers, crayon, or colored pencils.
There might be some bonus comics in there as well as sometimes I caught myself drawing in other sketch books that weren't "the book."
Besides this fun project, I've also been part of the Part Time Fanboy podcast http://parttimefanboy.com/ which is headed up by Kristian Horn. Its a great site and implore you to go check it out. I was honored to be invited to be a regular (or part-time) host and even got the chance to make some music for the show. You can listen to the podcast at parttimefanboy.com or get it in - you guessed it - itunes.
